Website Designing Process

1

Discovery + User Research

It is important for us to develop a strong understanding of your business in order to best serve your needs. We will speak to key stakeholders and analyze existing data to get a sense of where your business is coming from and where it is going. Our ultimate goal is to provide research on your users so that we can better understand their needs and how to best address them. This might involve customer interviews, quantitative research, or user testing.
2

Strategy

After conducting research and identifying challenges and opportunities, an experienced website strategist makes recommendations to create a strategy document that will guide the development of the website. This strategy must be aligned with business goals in order to be effective.
3

Planning

Our information architects and UX designers create a blueprint for the site during the planning process, which also involves identifying the site’s technical requirements and specifications. The first key deliverable is a sitemap, which shows the structure and hierarchy of the site’s pages. Next come wireframes – low-fidelity, black and white designs that show each page template’s essential structure.
4

Design

Design is the beginning of the journey to a successful brand. We explore different options with you to get a sense of how your brand should be represented. For some clients, this means working within strict guidelines. For others, it might mean helping to redefine or create a brand identity. Either way, we're here to help.
5

Copywriting

Copywriting for the web is a unique and important skill. Our copywriters are experts at creating content that is both concise and impactful, captures attention, and unfolds stories in an engaging way. They know how to think like a first-time site visitor and make pages attractive to both humans and search engine bots. Plus, they have the ability to dive deep into product features, service offerings, and more to find a message that resonates.
6

SEO

SEO should be integral to your website design from the outset. Overlooking this important aspect of website creation can result in missed opportunities or jeopardize existing equity.

Our team of SEO specialists works closely with our design team throughout the website creation process to make sure all pages are discoverable and relevant, following best practices. Sitemaps, wireframes, copy, and even design elements are carefully reviewed to ensure they’re in line with what search engines are looking for.

7

Development, QA and Launch

As a website development agency with a wealth of experience, we know how to work with in-house or third party dev teams to get the job done right. We're confident in our ability to deliver specifications and visual designs that are easy for the development team to implement, ensuring that the final product looks and performs as intended.
